Savocchi
Glass Company has humble roots dating back to 1949 where it began
with Charles and Josephine Savocchi (Dad and Mom). At that time,
the company cut and fixed broken windows, operating out of a very
small space in Winnetka, Illinois.
In 1976,
Dad Savocchi bought one of the last parcels of commercial property
in Winnetka and built the current home of Savocchi Glass Company.
Our services expanded to the point where we have grown to be a
full-service glass, window and door company selling and installing
a complete line of windows, doors, storm windows, shower doors,
mirrors and more.
We continue
our everyday repair services as always, and have added specialized
products like historical replication and storm windows, inspections
and consulting. We continue to expand our involvement in historical
projects in the North Shore and Chicago. One of the more prestigious
jobs was being commissioned to help with the Watertower Landmark
Restoration.
Savocchi
Glass Company has now been in business for over 56 years and is
still family owned and operated. Josephine (Mom) Savocchi can be
seen working at the shop along with sons Albert and Steve Savocchi,
daughter Marcia (Savocchi) Bojko, daughter-in-law Tatiana Savocchi
and grandson Jared Savocchi. We are known as specialists in our
industry and our customers have been heard to say, "If it
can't be done at Savocchi Glass, it can't be done at all!" As
a family business, we care about people and strive to always satisfy
our customers.
